Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), Danville, Pennsylvania is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship-trained Cornea Specialist to fill a rewarding position in the Department of Ophthalmology. This position provides an opportunity to join a well-established practice with multi-specialty Ophthalmologists and Optometrists.

About this position:

• Advanced technologies in diagnostic FA, Fundus Camera, HVF, Goldman Field, IOL Master, Immersion, OCT, Pachymetry, UBM, Idesign, anterior segment OCT and Topography
• Treatment options, including SLT Laser, YAG Laser, Argon Laser, excimer laser
• Two surgical facilities- one is at the outpatient surgery center and the other at GMC main campus nearby
• Support from a PA-C's and CRNP
• Practice location has 50 exam rooms located at the outpatient surgery center
• Shared call (home call)- Call is backing up residents, frequency 1 in 8 weeks.
• A large referral base from our onsite Optometrists, local Ophthalmologists and physicians in our satellite offices
• Opportunity to perform cross linking, LASIK, DSEK, DMEK

Opportunities to develop new program, perform research, and teach residents in a large, tertiary referral center.
