The Womens Hospital is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This candidate will manage individualized, goal-directed patient care through the use of the processes and the principles of primary patient in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. This position works in collaboration with Neonatologist obtaining patient history and conducts physical exams, performs critical procedures, identifies and addresses patient and family teaching needs, provides diagnosis education, develops plan of care by collaborating with the physician and other team members, makes appropriate referrals, performs exams, serves as a resource for staff and the hospital. Candidates should be licensed in the State of Indiana and certified by the ANCC/AANP as a Nurse Practitioner or certified by the NCCPA as a Physician Assistant.
